Catered the crew of LANG PRODUCTIONS for the Boston 48 Hour Film Project last weekend. What a great experience. Provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner for about 20 people on Saturday and breakfast and lunch for the "techies" on Sunday. We got the film in on time and in the Drama category it's fantastic. Hope we win because I would love to visit the Cannes Film Festival! Here's what I served the troops:
Saturday Breakfast - Greek Yogurt Parfaits with fresh rapberries and blueberries layered with organic "save the forest" Granola.
Saturday Lunch - Penne with my famous Fuggedaboutit Gravy and a big Salad.
Saturday Dinner - Chicken Marsala loaded with Mushrooms, and sauteed Green Beans with Olive Oil and Garlic.
Sunday Breakfast - Cut up Honeydew Melon and Cantaloupe and a Frittata with Shallots, Tomatoes, and fresh herbs.
Sunday Lunch - Homemade Tomato Soup with fresh Dill and an Arugula Salad with fresh Tomatoes and Avocados.
It cost about $400 bucks and used about 10 lbs. of chicken breasts, 3 lbs. Greek yogurt, 168 oz. of Italian Plum Tomatoes, 20 cloves of garlic, and 4 lbs. lettuce!
Can't wait to watch it on the big screen in Cambridge. GO LANG PRODUCTIONS!!
